Work Experience

I have been the Network Services Manager for Agnes Scott College since 2017. Agnes Scott is a private college just outside of Atlanta. I am responsible for everything outside of desktop support and the college's ERP system, for a community of approximately 1500 users:

Other Experience

As an early adopter of Linux and other Unix-like operating systems, I experimented quite a bit with configuring computers as router/firewalls. One of my earliest Linux projects was building one of these to use on our home dial-up connection. Over time, I ended up dabbling with iptables in Linux, PF in OpenBSD, and IPFW in FreeBSD.

These days I use an EdgeRouter Lite as my router. I have it configured to act as an authentication proxy for my AT&T residential gateway so that I can connect the EdgeRouter directly to the wall.
